"We got engaged to be engaged!" -Tess
"What does that mean?" -Ian
"It means that we feel we have reached a point in our relationship where we are prepared to make a long-term commitment at some time in the near or distant future." -Henry
"Stop, you're making me hot." -Ian

"Tess and I just got engaged to be engaged." -Henry
"What the hell's that mean?" -Jake
"It means we ar formalizing our assupmtion that a commitment to each other is imminent." -Henry
"Hey, whatever opens the store, Henry." -Jake

"If you wanted to be engaged, you'd get engaged, if you wanted to be married, you'd get married, if you want to be single, you make an empty promise and buy a whistle." -Ian

"Let's just say it's been a long time since I've enjoyed the comfort of a woman." -Jake
"What are you, Wyatt Earp?" -Ian

"The pre-engagement is off! From now on you can get your bar maid to blow your whistle... if she hasn't already!" -Tess to Henry

"I didn't cheat on Tess. She's gonna be so happy, I didn't do anything wrong. All I did was have a sex dream about another woman. I am so dead." -Henry

"We kissed. We kissed and we liked it!" -Tess
"Not all of us liked it." -Ian

"Tess, can't we just go back to the way we were before?" -Henry
"Before you had that erotic dream about the bar girl?" -Tess
"Oh, come on, Tess, you know that dream you had about the bread stick and doughnut? I hate to break it to you but it's not about food." -Henry

"What I'm unsure about is getting married. But believe me, there is no one I don't want to be married to less than you.... More than you.... You know what I'm saying." -Henry to Tess
